When you order a credit report from JBT,
that report is just a "snapshot" in time. As time
passes, that image may change. JBT offers you a way to monitor
that company and watch for possible financial changes in two
optional ways:
Continuous Service
Automatic updates on previously ordered credit
reports. This service eliminates the concern and "guesswork"
of deciding whether to order additional updated reports.
Mechanics
Once a subscriber to Continuous Service
orders a credit report on an individual account, the subscriber
automatically receives during the 12 month period following
such order all updated versions of the report at no additional
cost. The changes to a previously requested report
which would prompt an updated report are as follows:
- Rating changes
- New Financial Information
- Changes to "General Remark"
Commentary
Benefits
The guesswork as to whether or not to order
an update on a previously ordered report is greatly reduced.
Changes reflected for the entire membership
in the
Weekly Service Bulletin are communicated immediately to
the subscriber.
Each time that a report on one of your Continuous
Service accounts is requested by another member, the report
is subject to a complete review and if resulting in a
change, would be immediately communicated to the Continuous
Service subscriber.

Frequent
Inquiry Report
Two methods of keeping track of how many
inquiries are being made on particular accounts are available.
The first is a notation in the credit report
which lists the number of confirmed reports sent to members
on a subject company during the previous 90 days.
The second method
is an optional weekly report which lists those subject companies
on which there were five or more reports drawn during
the previous week. This report will list: the account
name; the JBT ID#; the number of inquiries during the past
week. (if five or more)
A large or sudden increase in the number
of inquiries on an account may suggest altered or unexplained
buying patterns as well as heightened concern by other JBT
members. As a result, careful credit investigation is thereby
warranted.
This Frequent Inquiry Report is
available weekly to all Members on JBT's website:
- Faxed copies of the report
are available to members for an annual subscription fee
of $50.00

Bankruptcy &
New Claims Report
This weekly supplement contains key information vital to all
industry vendors and suppliers.
The Bankruptcy Report is
a weekly listing of key developments in industry cases filed
with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Information will include key
filings, meeting dates, deadlines for filings by creditors,
members of appointed creditor committees, and listings of
the largest creditors in bankruptcy cases ---- all as the
information becomes available through the U.S. Bankruptcy
Court.
The New Claims Report is
a weekly listing of all claims (name of debtor and amount
of claim) placed with JBTs Collection Department during
the prior week.
One or more claims placed against an existing customer account
should prompt an immediate review of the account. Ordering
an updated credit report may reveal additional information
regarding recent payment trends.

and New Claims Report will be faxed to subscribing
members each weekend and will be available for review early
Monday morning.
