Interchange members are entitled to receive excess credit reports (in excess of 25 included in annual membership) at the discounted rate of $6.00 per report.

Interchange members who select direct on-line access receive reports at $5.00 per report (a $2.00 savings!)

A customized report is sent to your company at the end of every month listing those of your customers whose credit report contains either a rating change or a new collection claim during the previous monthly period. The report is prepared and sent to you at no extra charge!

As an Interchange member, you are no longer required to complete trade reference cards sent to all non-interchange members. This provides a time and cost savings to you and to JBT, as printing, postage, and processing time are greatly reduced.

The Interchange reduces the wait for trade references to be returned. Accordingly, reports are updated and completed sooner, allowing all members to receive complete and current information.

As Interchange members submit information on all of their accounts on a monthly basis, the trade information in each report is greatly expanded and of a timely nature, thereby allowing for more accurate credit decisions.

Every Interchange member is able to access credit report information and print credit reports in its own offices provided that the member is able to establish a direct link between its own computer system and JBT’s Warwick office.

Access is achieved simply through a telephone modem (cost of approx. $100.00) whereby an "800" telephone number is dialed to link your system or personal computer to JBT’s computer. This means that printed credit information can be obtained almost instantly in your office or home. All that is required is the proper access number, your member number and your assigned password.

As noted above, members who order reports via direct access are able to review excess credit reports at a cost of $5.00 each as opposed to $6.00 for non-direct access Interchange members and $7.00 each for non-Interchange members.

Direct access members may review at no charge the "week-to-date" Weekly Service Bulletin (listing financial embarrassments, rating changes, etc.) on a daily basis as opposed to waiting for the weekly published copy mailed to all members.

Direct access members are able to review "on-line" the weekly "Frequent Inquiry Report" and the status of all of the member’s claims being handled by JBT’s collection department, all at no charge.
